The
Junior team made it two wins out of two in the league when they
recorded a good win over Ilen Rovers in Ross last Sunday. The final
score was 3-9 to 1-9, the goals coming from Kieran Fitzpatrick and 2
from Colin Murphy.
Ross under 16’s had a good victory over Clonakilty on Sunday
morning. While playing against the stiff breeze in the opening half,
Ross sowed the seed’s for this win when they led by 1-6 to 2 points
at the break. In the second period Ross were well on top and ran out
winners by 3-13 to 1-02.Team: Daniel Hodnett, Damien O’Brien,

Next weekend the Juniors travel to Bantry for a league game
while the under 16’s make the trip to Newcestown for an 11.30 start
on Sunday morning.
The club held a Social and presentation night in the Celtic
Ross hotel last Saturday night a large crowed were present and
special guest on the night was Seán Óg Ó hAilpín. Medals were
presented to the Under 16 footballers and under 14 hurlers. A
presentation was made to James Fitzpatrick on winning an under 21
All Ireland medal with Cork in 2009. Carbery
Rangers senior team were also presented with the Buckley financial

On Friday the Registration night for both Hurling and
football was very successful, anyone yet to be registered can do so
with the team mentors.
We had no lotto this week and it
returns on next Monday night with a jackpot of €1600.
