In the under 21 championship Carbery Rangers and Bandon played out a
draw and after extra time the sides were still deadlocked on a score
of Carbery Rangers 0-09 to Bandon 1-06. This was a highly
entertaining game and could have gone any way. It was Ross who

sheet, but the sides were level at the break 5 points each. The
second period had Ross leading by two when Bandon scored a cracking
goal to give them the advantage with four minutes to go however Ross

daunting task but they responded well holding Bandon scoreless

Carbery Rangers
0-08 Newcestown 1-05
In the southwest under 21 championship Carbery Rangers and
Newcestown ended up all square after a hard hour of football played
in Dunmanway on Sunday last. While Ross played with a strong wind
advantage in the first half they failed to make it count on the
scoreboard and a lead of 4 points to 1 looked a bit shaky. On the
changeover Ross produced their best football and ran into an eight
points to three lead with ten minuets to play. It was then they
conceded a rather easy goal which left Newcestown back into game and
they followed with two unanswered points to leave a final score of
0-08 to 1-05. The replay is fixed for Dunmanway on Sunday next at
3pm. Team Liam
